After a super weekend of SalmonFest, we headed toward Homer at the bottom of the Kenai Peninsula. A bonus of going there from the festival is that some of the awesome bands also came to Homer to play during the week at Alice’s Champagne Palace. The video below is a review of what we saw in Homer.

OUR TIPS FOR HOMER
- It's totally worth renting a car and taking a drive out from the city on East End Road.
- Ask someone about the Oyster Happy Hour at the Homer Brewery. How can you beat craft beer and fresh oysters?
- Don't miss the Pratt Museum.
- For a great evening with live music, go to Alice's Champagne Room. Good food and drinks. Check out the sunset on the back balcony, and eat upstairs if the music's too loud.
