It’s those little, random events that make traveling so interesting. They aren’t in the tourist guides, websites or recommendations. They are the advantage of staying in one place long enough.

While we were out walking one evening we happened upon this community center in full swing. In full swing of what exactly, we have no idea, but it was fun to watch with all the children and families. They had a drawing for a bicycle, and someone on that gaudily-lit stage was singing really bad karaoke.
