I was going back over the photo collection and remembering our walk in the French Quarter. We came across a parade on Bourbon Street of anti-gay fundamentalists which was followed closely by a group protesting the protesters.
All through life there were distinctions – toilets for men, toilets for women; clothes for men, clothes for women – then, at the end, the graves are identical.

Who We Are
Deena and Ivan are nomads that, in 2012, sold or gave away everything they owned. They “slow travel”, which means they stay in a location for some time to allow the culture of a place to seep into their souls. Since 2017, they’ve traveled in a Mercedes Sprinter van conversion with, of course, the same “slow travel” style.
